More of your visitors, turned into customers.
Most Shopify stores do not need more traffic first. They need fewer reasons for the traffic they already have to leave. Shraen finds where shoppers give up and fixes the cause, one measured change at a time.
Where conversion actually leaks.
A low conversion rate is rarely one big problem. It is a run of small ones: a product page that does not answer the obvious question about sizing, delivery costs that only appear at checkout, a collection page with twenty filters and no sensible sort order, a mobile menu that hides the category people came for.
Each one loses a few shoppers. Because they are spread across the journey, they are easy to miss from inside the business, and the usual responses (another discount popup, another app, another redesign) add noise without fixing the cause.
Conversion rate optimisation, done properly, means finding the specific places your shoppers give up, understanding why, and changing the store so they do not.
- Healthy traffic, flat sales
- Plenty of add to carts, few completed checkouts
- Mobile converts far worse than desktop
- Customers email to ask what the page should answer
- Discounts are the only thing that moves the numbers
How the work is done.
There is no generic checklist. The work follows your data and your shoppers, in this order.
- 01
Read the funnel
Shopify Analytics and GA4 show where sessions drop between landing, product page, cart and checkout, split by device and traffic source. That narrows the search to the one or two steps losing the most people.
- 02
Watch real behaviour
Session recordings, heatmaps and on-site search terms show what shoppers are trying to do and where they get stuck. Customer service emails and reviews show the questions the store is not answering.
- 03
Fix the biggest leak first
Each problem is ranked by how many shoppers it affects and how hard it is to fix. The top one is designed and built properly in your theme: clearer product information, a shorter path to checkout, a better mobile menu, faster pages.
- 04
Measure the change
Every change is measured against a baseline. Where you have the traffic, changes are A/B tested; where you do not, they are compared over matched periods, and you are told honestly how confident the result is.
- 05
Keep a changelog
Every change is written down with what was done and why, so you always know what moved the numbers, and nothing is lost when your team changes.
The offer: start with one Storefront Sprint.
The first step is a Storefront Sprint: one focused fix to the biggest leak in your store, scoped up front and shipped in one to two weeks, paid 50% upfront and 50% on delivery. If it works, ongoing monthly improvement takes on the next most valuable change, with a written changelog you can read.
- Funnel and behaviour review
- The biggest leak, ranked and scoped
- One fix designed and built in your theme
- Baseline and measurement plan
- Written changelog entry
Questions, answered.
Anything else, ask on the call.
What is a good conversion rate for a Shopify store?
It depends heavily on your product, price point and traffic mix, so industry averages are a weak guide. The more useful comparison is your own store over time, split by device and channel. That shows where you are losing people and what fixing it is worth.
Do you run A/B tests?
Where the traffic supports it, yes. Smaller stores often do not have enough visitors for a test to reach a reliable result in a sensible time, so changes are measured over matched periods instead, and the confidence level is stated plainly.
Is Shraen a CRO agency?
Shraen is a founder-led studio rather than an agency. The person who reads your analytics is the person who designs and builds the fix, so nothing is lost between a strategist, a designer and a developer.
Will you add more apps to my store?
Usually the opposite. Most conversion fixes are better built into the theme than bolted on, which also keeps the store fast.
How quickly will I see results?
The first fix ships within one to two weeks of the Sprint starting. How quickly it shows in the numbers depends on your traffic: a busy store sees a clear signal within a few weeks, a smaller one needs longer, and you are told which to expect before work starts.
