RealAura: property search that gets people to the right listing.

The problem.
Property search is high-stakes and detail-heavy. People arrive knowing roughly where they want to live and what they can spend, and need to get from that to a shortlist quickly.
Then they compare listings on the details that matter: rent or price, size, layout, furnishing and location. Many listing sites bury those details under filters, adverts and long forms, so people give up before they ever enquire.
The approach.
RealAura is not a Shopify project. It is here because search, listing pages and the path to enquiry are the same problems as Shopify collections, product pages and checkout.
- 01
Search first
The home page leads with one search box for locality, society or project, with Rent and Sell as a simple switch above it. Everything else comes after.
- 02
One-tap quick filters
Property type and stage (apartment, villa, plots, upcoming, new launch, under construction, ready to move) are single taps under the search, not a long filter panel.
- 03
Listing cards built for comparing
Each card shows the price, BHK, area in square feet and furnishing on one line, with a clear For rent or For sale tag, so people can scan a grid and shortlist quickly.
- 04
A short path to enquiry
Listing pages lead to a short enquiry flow, so the step from interest to contact is as small as possible.
What was built.
Designed and built by the same person, with no hand-off between a designer and a developer.
- Search-first home page
- Rent and sale switch with quick filters
- Listing grids and cards
- Listing detail pages
- Enquiry flows
- Responsive frontend in Next.js and React
Questions, answered.
About this project, and what it means for a Shopify store.
Was RealAura a Shopify project?
No. RealAura is a property platform built with Next.js and React. It is included because the work is the same kind Shraen does on Shopify: search, listing pages and the path from browsing to action.
What did Shraen do on RealAura?
UX design and frontend engineering for the search, listing pages and enquiry flows.
How does this apply to a Shopify store?
Property search and Shopify collections solve the same problem: helping someone narrow a large catalogue down to the right item quickly. The same thinking goes into Shopify collection filters, product cards and product pages.
